Building this metal roof was an enjoyable task and a learning experience all in one. I have built a few conventional roofs and used shingles and rolled roofing as the covering, but this was my first metal roof. I worked slow but steady, did a lot of reading on mental roofing, and watched a lot of YouTube videos. Now I have a chance to show my progress and make a video or two myself. If I built roofs full time then I would call myself a professional, but I don’t and I am not. However, I am happy with my work and I feel it will stand the test of time.

   When the time came, I really hated to cut into my wonderful roof.However, building a house demands ventilation both for plumbing and cooling aspects. After all, a roof is just another piece of the puzzle that goes into building a house, albeit a very big piece. When the time came I cut the holes, and recorded my work.
